About Our House System
Milton International School operates a traditional House System inspired by British educational traditions. This system divides students into different houses that compete in academic, athletic, and artistic activities throughout the year. The House System fosters a sense of belonging, healthy competition, and school spirit among students.
Each house has its own identity, colors, and traditions. Students are assigned to a house upon enrollment and remain members throughout their time at Milton. The system encourages mentorship between older and younger students, leadership development, and teamwork.
House Activities
Throughout the academic year, houses compete in various events and activities including:
Academic Competitions: Quiz bowls, debate tournaments, science fairs, and academic olympiads where houses earn points for outstanding performance.
Sports Events: Inter-house sports competitions including basketball, football, swimming, track and field, and annual sports day events.
Arts & Culture: Music performances, drama productions, art exhibitions, and cultural festivals showcase the creative talents within each house.
Community Service: Houses compete to make the greatest positive impact through volunteer work and charitable initiatives.
